1. Who we are
The Service is provided by TalkNavAI, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at support@talknavai.com.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
- You must give accurate account information and keep your login secure. Accounts are for one person and must not be shared.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@talknavai.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
- If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
3. The Service
TalkNavAI transcribes live audio and generates AI-powered suggestions in real time to help you in conversations such as meetings, sales calls, and interviews, and lets you review past sessions. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
4. Recording, consent & third-party rules (important)
You are solely responsible for using TalkNavAI lawfully. Laws on recording, transcribing, and monitoring conversations differ by place, and some require the consent of all participants. Before using the Service in any conversation, you must understand and follow the laws that apply and obtain any consent required.
You are also responsible for following the rules of any employer, school, exam body, platform, or interviewer that apply to you. Some interviews, assessments, and exams prohibit outside assistance; using the Service where it is not allowed is your choice and your responsibility, and is not permitted under our Acceptable Use Policy.
5. AI output — no guarantees, not professional advice
- Suggestions, transcripts, summaries, and other output are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or unsuitable for your situation.
- Output is for assistance only and is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for checking it and for everything you say and do.
- We do not guarantee any result from using the Service, including passing an interview, getting a job or offer, closing a sale, or any business outcome.
6. Plans, billing & cancellation
- Plans. We offer a free plan and paid subscriptions with monthly usage allowances, as shown on our pricing page. Unused minutes do not roll over.
- Payment. Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. Prices may exclude taxes, which are added where required.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or annual period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Plan changes. Upgrades start immediately and you pay the prorated difference for the rest of the period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
- Price changes. We may change prices with reasonable advance notice. Changes apply from your next renewal, never to a period you have already paid for.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may move your account to the free plan until it is resolved.
7. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short, you must not use the Service unlawfully or without required consent, bypass usage limits or security, reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service, or use it to harm others.
8. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you provide or generate through the Service (your Library, settings, audio, transcripts, suggestions, and Meeting History — “Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit Your Content only to operate and provide the Service to you, including sending it to the providers described in our Privacy Policy. We do not use Your Content to train AI models. You confirm you have the rights needed to provide Your Content.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to us and our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service under these Terms. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (listed on our Sub-processors page) and lets you sign in with Google or LinkedIn. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Availability & updates
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service, and perform maintenance, at any time. The desktop app updates itself automatically to keep it secure and compatible.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of output.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, opportunities, or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US$100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right (including recording and consent laws).
15. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. If we end a paid account without cause, we will refund the unused part of the current period. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give notice in advance (for example by email or in the app). If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
17. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days. Any dispute that cannot be resolved this way will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section removes mandatory protections given to you by the law of the country where you live, including any right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
18. General
These Terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation, merger, or sale. If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails.
